During the first half of the year, TAKAMAZ introduced the low cost, easy to use model “GSL-15” for new industrializing countries, and the “XL-100” which, in consideration of the environment, achieves energy savings of about 10%. This decreases the effect to the environment but cost performance by achieved with higher productivity than conventional machines. Customers will be capable of maintaining production at lower cost. For last half of the year, TAKAMAZ will proceed with the development of new machines to meet the needs of compound machining centers.
The TAKAMAZ product lineup includes the USL series as an environment friendly and energy saving product. This USL series has received the 2010 Outstanding Product Award of the Japan Society of Mechanical Engineers.This is the second award after having received the Japan Machinery Federation Chairman’s Award in recognition of TAKAMAZ excellence in energy saving machinery in 2007 as awarded by the Japan Machinery Federation.It is quite an honor for the “product-based environmental measures” incorporated by TAKMAZ to be evaluated in this manner. Therefore, TAKAMAZ will continue to proceed with the development of products capable of contributing to different companies and customers.
