Basic philosophy
TAKAMAZ Machinery Co., Ltd. recognizes that conservation of the global environment is the most important common issue for humankind, and contributes to building a sustainable society by aggressively acting on the protection of the environment in all aspects of corporate activities.
Environmental policies
TAKAMAZ implements environmental conservation activities based on the following policy in all business activities including manufacturing, sales and service for all of the products that the company manufactures.
- We recognize the environmental aspects of our business activities and products, and promote the prevention of environmental pollution.
- We comply with environmental laws, regulations and other requirements that we have agreed to meet.
- To promote environmental conservation activities, we work to save energy, conserve resources and reduce waste.
- Through product assessments we help to reduce the environmental burdens created by customers using our products.
- In order to realize this environmental policy, we will improve the awareness and knowledge of all departments and all employees, including those of related companies in our plants, set environmental targets, periodically review them, and continuously improve them.

On December 1, 2000, acquired ISO14001, an international standard for environmental management systems, from the Japan Quality Assurance Organization (JQA)
