In this issue, we introduce the following maintenance related to consumable parts that customers can check before replacing parts.
(1)Is the conveyor roller shaft worn?
When replacing belts such as those of in-conveyors and out-conveyors, look at the roller shafts at the same time.
Worn roller shafts may cause the belt to meander.
Depending on the operating conditions, if they have not been replaced for more than 10 years since purchase, they are likely to be worn out.
Replacing the roller shafts while changing the belt does not take much effort, so if you see wear, by all means replace the roller shafts.
(2)Are the loader finger mounting adapters worn?
If the finger mounting points are worn, the fingers may tilt, causing displacement of the center of the workpiece, or the workpiece may fall off during transfer.
If you notice difficulty in centering the loader, or increased play when checking the fingers during replacement, try checking the mounting adapters.
(3)Is the operation of the loader pusher normal?
If it is not normal, the workpiece may be tilted with respect to the reference face.
If you are starting to see loading errors, or see play when replacing the pusher, we recommend replacement.
(4)The spindle belt and timing belt are also consumable parts.
The spindle belt connects the spindle motor to the spindle pulley to turn the spindle, and the timing belt connects the position coder to the spindle pulley to keep accurate rotation speed. Both of these items are consumable parts, so please take a look at them.
Cracks, nicks, or missing belt ribs are signs that replacement is required.
If you difficult to replace these belt by yourself, please contact us or our products handling distributors.
