Four standard tools can be mounted. The machine width of 480 mm is realized while securing an X-axis stroke of 160 mm. With the 2-unit linked specification, the dimension of each line in the width direction is halved.
Production lines are made more efficient and simpler, it is easy to have a lot of units, and lines can be constructed flexibly.
In pursuit of high-precision cutting
The built-in spindle with "zero-center design" lessens the relative displacement of the spindle unit and achieves greater cutting accuracy.
Shortened cycle time
The built-in spindle motor demonstrates a significant reduction in rise time (0 to 10,000min-1) to 1 second or less.* With the automatic loading mechanism installed, the time required for workpiece loading is only 4 seconds.

The Ishikawa Ecodesign Award is a prize for the purpose of fostering superior “products (workmanship)” and “services (doings)” made in Ishikawa that have been produced towards realizing a sustainable society, such as information issuance and partnerships (participation and international initiatives), for the purpose of symbiotic relationship with nature, such as carbon reduction (preventing global warming), or wilderness and ocean-conservation, as well as resource recycling (3 R’s), and environmental conservation. The Takamaz products USL-300, USL-480, and XW-30 were selected for the grand prize in the products division.
